Cherry Noir Bacchanalia - Now, what is a Bacchanalia?

A Bacchanalia is a revelry. Its a party dedicated to and in the spirit of the God Dionysus, the god of wine and merriment. Back in the day, these parties were orgies and drunken debauchery that lasted days. We're talking the PARTY of PARTIES. What we're doing is bringing a little bit of that spirit to Cherry Noir.

The entire place will be adorned with a style befitting a life of luxury in the Roman Empire. We're going to hang white fabric, grapevines, grapes, and Roman/Greek style touches throughout the venue.

Togas are encouraged, but it is not a dress code. If you want to dress in theme, there are a lot of options. You can wear a Spartan lion cloth like the hunks from 300, a simple tunic of a lowly slave, a gladiator, an emperor's laurel wreath, a gown of a Goddess or an Egyptian Queen. Elaborate togas or just throwing a bedsheet around yourself is all OK too.

But here's the BEST PART....

THERE WILL BE A LIVE PAINTER THERE!!! Yes, there will be the equivalent to an ancient photographer at the party. Basically, he will be painting a 4ft x 2ft painting of the entire party all three days!

It'll be an impressionistic painting. He won't be painting people individually, so you won't be able to pick yourself out of the painting. It's more like he's putting elements of people together in order to create a good composition. Such as - that dress with a different head in a pose from another person, etc. It's a feeling of the party rather than the exact moment.

You will be able to see the painting be brought to life, hour by hour, day by day. Pictures from his perspective will be taken every 20 minutes for 3 days. At the end of the event, he'll review all the pictures to pick just the right elements to add into the painting. All the digital pictures will be destroyed after the project is over. The painting itself will then be turned into a print for sale, which pays the artist for his artistic expression. It's something so UNIQUE to bring to our event.

Tickets Half Gone for April's Cherry Noir Fishnet Friday

Cherry Noir Fishnet Friday is starting to heat up! We've just tested out our R&B sex beat soundtrack and it sounds great. I've thrown in a few 70s classics just for the hell of it too. The Thursday party right now seems to be super light in attendees. I know everyone wants the Fishnet Friday, and tickets for Thursday probably won't start selling until that is sold out. HOWEVER, if the party end up being a super small gathering, then I'm breaking out the Twister, Air Twister, Cards Against Humanity, and any super sexy or super touchy games that I can find. Maybe we'll do a massage share. There's a lot of fun options for a small group to get in on that you can't reasonably do with a large crowd.

I'm also reducing the price on Thursday since I won't be getting a teacher for this one. I'm passing the savings onto you. (For the people who bought a full price ticket, you will be getting a refund of the difference when they arrive to the venue.)

Friday, April 25th - Cherry Noir Fishnet Friday - a Party with a DRESS CODE - MUST wear Fishnet or Wear Nothing at All

Party is 8pm-1am - $42 each person (VIPs can use their personal code for $10 off) - Fireplay class at 9pm or so by Fire Expert J Dominus, who will teach fire safety and some super cool fire techniques. This party has a DRESS CODE. You MUST wear something fishnet or wear nothing at all. Lace, mesh, tulle, and other fabrics that kind of look like fishnet are also acceptable. You can get something fishnet-like in a shirt, panty, gloves, stockings, arm sleeves, etc. If you're not wearing something net-like then you GO NUDE.
