Mistress Zeneca Didn't Quit - But she was Laid Off due to AI

After 14 years with her company, they gave her the boot. They think that AI could do her job - and perhaps it can. But rather than wallow in "What am I going to do?" she's taking a wider creative opportunity. The lay off is a blessing in disguise. Mistress Zeneca is changing directions and diving into weirder and perhaps more creative pools.

She just acquired a BRAND NEW art studio!

Mistress Zeneca and her Partner Jay have signed the lease on a new art studio where they will be building their decor and monster creations in from now on. It's over 900 sq feet of space, which is plenty of room to build and grow from. Plus, the new studio is much closer to the 'Mistress Zeneca's Playtime Munch' venue in Port Richmond.

This is a major transition that has been on the radar for a while. If you've been a member of this mailing list long enough, you've seen their intense dedication to making monsters, furniture building, and creating decor for bars and restaurants. No, this isn't an April Fool's joke; the joke was just the subject line of the email.

The County of Burlington, New Jersey has tapped the creative team to build an immersive set and display for their Spring Fair on May 17th, 2026. Several ideas were presented and they went with the zany one. Should be fun. Mistress Zeneca invites anyone who is inspired by this project to speak up. Get creative with her and Jay and learn how to sculpt with foam, build, paint, and decorate. Help build the Emerald City!

The move-in date of the new studio space is April 7th, and transitioning all her dungeon furniture, tools, and building supplies to the new studio will take a while. There's a lot of stuff!

The new studio space is large enough for some hands-on creative classes. Plans are in the works to also be able to offer unique maker classes like LEATHER WORKING, PAPER MACHE ARTS, MOLD MAKING, WORKING WITH RESINS, and MORE. And besides, it's really a fun way to spend an afternoon or evening.

The theme of this year's event is "Unholy Halloween" - Yes, it's a Summerween event so we're going ALL-OUT!!

Since this is the 6th year of this particular camping event, AllentownDom's staff and crew are experienced and ready to make this year's event EVEN BETTER. Other weekend events like this will run you several hundred dollars per ticket and will only be a fraction of the type of things that we have in store for you. Oh Boy! Do we have some BIG PLANS for this event. We can't even say what they are yet. The things below are just the ones that we can announce.

• Date: Friday, July 17th, 2026 at 6pm thru Sunday, July 19th at 11am.
• Location: TOTALLY PRIVATE Camping Ground in Covington Township, PA 18444.
• Accommodations: RV camping available, Tent camping, or you can stay at a Hotel off-site. Lots of hotels available within 10 minutes of the campground at reasonable rates.
• Food: Friday night dinner, Saturday full day of meals, and Sunday breakfast served. Snacks available too.
• Drinks: Non-alcoholic beverages provided, BYOB, plus some complementary tastings too!
• Dress code: Wear or not wear whatever you want; clothing optional.
• Attendance: This event is being planned for a comfortable 200 people.

Compared to other weekend-long events in the greater Philadelphia area, this is a BARGAIN. This isn't a cheap event either. For the value of your ticket, you're getting so so much. If you've gone to Mistress Zeneca's events, then you know that SHE WILL MAKE THE EFFORT to create an event that you will remember fondly years later. Even at full price, it's still a value for your dollar.

You do not need to actually camp there if you don't want to. Hotels are available in the area and cheap enough that you can get a couple Whips & Wine tickets and the hotel and not seriously break the bank. (Maybe it's something to splurge on with your tax refund.) It could be something to look forward to. Spending time with community away from the Bad News around us would be a nice breath of fresh air - literally, the camp is surrounded by forest.
