Multiple Sclerosis affects people in a wide variety of ways: Mentally, Emotionally, and Physically

For those that don't know, Mistress Zeneca has Multiple Sclerosis, which has been in the background for over a decade. It's a condition that many in our community endure. Since it's an autoimmune condition that affects the brain, it is unpredictable and could be catastrophic. Some people must endure mobility issues, visual changes, mental fog, and constant pain. It's a disease of progressive deterioration. Multiple Sclerosis medications are getting better but don't fully prevent the condition from slowly deteriorating the patient.

ElegantlyKinky parties are nearly a one-woman production

The parties that Mistress Zeneca throws are her singular responsibility. During the party days, she has a staff that helps to set up the party, tend to guests, and be Ambassadors of Love. Dedicated helpers create a safe and supportive environment. Anyone which raises a hand to help is truly appreciated! A number of people that have joined her to help in a variety of capacities and it's a treasured help to get things accomplished. On non-party days, Mistress Zeneca vets people, negotiates with venues, manages a community, and designs the themes that everyone enjoys. There's a lot of work involved and when she's under-the-weather, none of it can be done very well.

Right now, she needs to take a step back and focus on her health and her family. So there will not be a Halloween event, despite our intense desire to throw one. It's just not in the cards this year.

No matter what battles you are facing, don't suffer in silence. Everyone faces health and mental challenges and you are not alone. Take time for yourself and get the help you need.

Mistress Zeneca normally wouldn't be so public with her health issues, but in doing so it shows that we all go through some shit.

We have seen remarkable strength in our community. There are people in our BDSM community with a wide variety of health conditions or mental neurodiversity. Just like at a party, the whole idea of being kind and compassionate is paramount to Mistress Zeneca's mission. Stay kind and understand that we all need to take a bit of time.

Annual Decor Installations for the Holidays

Due to the aforementioned health issues, Mistress Zeneca has not been going hardcore on the decorations she makes for the bars and restaurants. The bars are open, but the decor is still slowly rolling out.
